Thomas Zilliacus is the chairman and a founder of Mobile FutureWorks Inc, an investment company focused on the wireless space, which currently holds 50% of YuuZoo’s shares.
From 1980 until 1996, he held various top management positions with Nokia Corporation, including Regional Director for the Asia-Pacific region from 1986 to 1993, Managing Director for Nokia Southeast Asia Pte Ltd from 1989 to 1993, Senior Advisor for Nokia Asia-Pacific from 1993 to 1996, and Senior Vice-President, Corporate Communications, with overall responsibility for Nokia’s corporate image,PR and brand from 1980 to 1986.
Thomas Zilliacus is a board member of Asia’s largest pure-play VoIP carrier, MediaRing Ltd, and chairman of its remuneration committee. He is a senior advisor to several companies in the wireless space, such as NASDAQ-listed China Voice Corp and US-based Scanbuy Inc.
Thomas Zilliacus has since 1986, lived in Singapore. Since 1996, he divides his time between his offices and homes in Singapore and Finland.
Ron Creevey - President YuuZoo
Ron Creevey has driven YuuZoos huge expansion in both the number of content partners as well as in new distribution agreements. Ron is also in charge of YuuZoos global content and business development.
Ron has extensive background in telecommunication business development and sales, having created and led the sales function for Australias first ISP, MagnaData. Subsequently Ron helped sell a minority stake of this business to NTT of Japan for A$140 million as the then Managing Director of Magna Data. After that, Ron worked with NTT to grow the business in the United States.
Ron is currently based in New York.
Andrew Chai – CFO
Andrew Chai joined YuuZoo from Nasdaq-listed Xinhua Finance Media where he was working as Director, Accounting & Reporting.
Trilingual in written and spoken English, Chinese and Vietnamese, Andrew has progressed professionally, and refined his managerial skills in the course of a thirteen-year Finance & Accounting career starting with the Big Four Accounting Firms in Singapore and Indochina.
Over the last seven years, Andrew has been based in China as Financial Controller for the Greater China operations of multinational companies in the manufacturing,logistics and consulting service industries.
G. Kelly O’Dea – Chairman, Global Marketing Group
Kelly O’Dea was in a recent Harvard Business School case study described as “a global marketing pioneer, business builder and change leader”. He has a 25-year track record that crosses virtually all markets worldwide. He has advised top brands such as IBM, Microsoft, Compaq, Shell, Samsung, Boeing, Ford, Fujitsu, AT&T, PepsiCo, Kraft and Unilever.
Kelly is board chairman of Outward Bound International and the Alliance for High Performance Leadership, a think tank advisory group focused on innovation and leadership. He is also vice chairman of the board of the Thunderbird School of Global Management. He is former President of Foote, Cone and Belding Worldwide, former Vice Chairman/Global Operations and CEO/Europe-Middle East-Africa for Bozell Worldwide, and former President, Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide Client Services.
Pekka Palin– General Manager, Europe, Middle East & Africa
Pekka Palin has a 10-year + background inall aspects of wireless content, distribution, marketing etc. Co-founder of several successful companies in the wirless space : ZTango, Wapit, OpenMobile etc, Pekka joined YuuZoo from his latest position as head of mobile TV for a leading wireless company.
Scott Kepron– General Manager, America
Scott Kepron joined Yuuzoo from Bell Mobility where he worked in Business Development and Content Acquisition for the Mobile Entertainment portfolio, managing content licensing and merchandising of games, applications, truetones, images, full-length movies, video, full-track downloads and caller ringback tones.
Prior to Bell he worked as the Director of the Mobile Storefront Division at m-Qube Inc.
He is a past member of the Canadian Wireless Technology Association committees for Mobile Content, Shortcode, Rich Content and Mobile Commerce.
Andy Yap– General Manager, Asia-Pacific
Also Andy Yap has a 10-year + background in wireless business in both Asia and Europe. Andy joined YuuZoo from another leading Asian mobile content player.
